3. Browser storage and cookies

The website does not set its own cookies and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Our own settings are kept in browser localStorage, which stays on your device and is not automatically sent to a server.

The payment component of our payment provider Stripe is loaded on the website, and it sets its own cookies (e.g. __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid). They are used for payment security and fraud prevention, not for advertising. These cookies are strictly necessary for the secure operation of the payment service.

You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings (Clear site data).

4. Third parties – Firebase, Stripe and Zoho

The website uses Google Firebase for its database and server functions. The database and server functions are located in Google's data centre in Finland (Hamina, europe-north1 region); only the scheduled batch sending of the launch notification runs in Google's data centre in Poland (Warsaw, europe-central2), so data stays within the EU. Firebase processes data according to Google's privacy policy. More info: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card and other payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form – they never pass through our servers, and we do not store them. Our server only sends Stripe the order amount, order number and your email address (to send a receipt). Stripe processes payment data according to its own privacy policy. Emails (replies to inquiries, order confirmations and the launch notification) are sent via the Zoho Mail service. More info: zoho.com/privacy

Stripe and Zoho may also process data outside the EU and EEA. In that case, transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Retention period

Orders: Retained in accordance with Finnish accounting law for at least 6 years.
Reviews: Indefinitely or until you request deletion.
Contact inquiries: Deleted after the inquiry is resolved, at most within 2 years.
Launch notification list: Until you unsubscribe (link at the end of every message or by email), and no longer than 12 months after sales start.
Traffic statistics: Retained for at most 400 days, then deleted automatically.
